🚀 Devlog Update – New Enemies & Expanded Test Room

Hey everyone! Big progress on the project this week — I’ve expanded the test room so I can start showing off multiple enemy types at once. Here’s what’s new:

🧨 Bomb Dropper Enemy

  • Floats in the air, bobbing up and down.

  • If the player is below it and in view, it will drop bombs.

  • If the player is above or out of range, it stays idle.

💣 Bomb Walker

  • A walking bomb that looks harmless at first.

  • If hit with a boomerang, stomp, or another bomb, it transforms into a live bomb and starts its fuse countdown.

🪨 Spike Head Walker

  • A tougher variation of the base walker.

  • Can’t be stomped — the spike damages the player if they try.

🚁 Copter Enemy Update

  • Both the regular and big copters will now only pursue the player once they’re on screen.

  • This prevents unfair offscreen tracking and makes encounters feel more natural.

That’s it for this round of updates! I’m really happy with how the enemy roster is expanding — each one adds new strategy and variety to gameplay.

I will be out of town for a week on vacation, so don't get worried if I suddenly seem to drop off the face of the earth for a while!
