Hey everyone! 👋

This update focuses on giving BitJump a smoother, more expressive feel — both in gameplay and presentation.
You’ll notice better feedback, bouncier animations, and fewer frustrating edge cases. The game is feeling more alive and responsive than ever!

✨ What’s New

🎭 Player Feel & Animation

  • Added squash and stretch animations for jumping and landing — the player now compresses slightly before taking off and stretches in midair for a playful, bouncy look.

  • Improved wall and ceiling collision logic — no more abrupt stops when brushing against edges or platforms.

💥 Visual & Sound Polish

  • Added new spark and poof effects to explosions, interactions, and other objects to make them feel more impactful.

  • Updated several sound effects to give the game a more cohesive and polished soundscape.

🧱 Physics & Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a long-standing issue where you could instantly die by slightly clipping into a wall — collisions are now much more forgiving and consistent.

  • Smoothed out side-clipping when jumping near walls — platforming feels tighter and more predictable.

🌟 Closing Thoughts

BitJump’s starting to feel more like a living, breathing little platformer — with personality in every bounce and polish in every jump.
